To have at least 50% of Gynaecological surgical slates at UHNBC start surgery at 0800 by June 30, 2018.
To improve efficiency in the operating room and start surgery at 0800. The first change had surgeons in the OR at 0745 with the patient and rest of the team in the room. The surgeon provided leadership to the room and made sure everything was ready to start at 0800. The second change was to try inserting the IV prior the patient being in the OR.
