The Critical Care Recovery Program Shared Care Project Advisory Committee is looking for a Patient Partner to join their team!

Looking to share your experience as a Patient Partner? Apply by September 20, 2024.

Survivors of critical illness frequently experience problems with their cognition, mental health, and physical function known as post-intensive care syndrome (PICS). A group of health professionals are working on establishing a critical care recovery program for these complex patients. In the early stages, the goal is to engage relevant healthcare providers and patient partners to identify promising collaborations, potential barriers, and create a full proposal for funding to support this innovative service. The advisory committee is made up of many passionate allied health professionals and now seeks patient voices to add their valuable perspective to the conversation.

If you have personal experience navigating critical care recovery, or have supported someone who has, please consider joining our project.
