Northern Health’s Spreading Quality Improvement (SQI) program supports the spread of successful physician‑led quality improvement (QI) projects to new sites and communities across the region. If you have a QI initiative that has demonstrated success and would benefit patients and teams in other locations, we want to hear from you.
What Is SQI?
SQI is designed to accelerate the spread of proven QI innovations by providing structured support, resources, and coaching for both sending and receiving sites. The program helps teams replicate success, navigate system‑level challenges, and build capacity for sustainable improvement.
Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for SQI, projects must:
Originate from a Shared Care Committee or SSC Initiative, including:
Be led by a physician and team willing to:
Demonstrate success and alignment
