As a result of attending this program, the participant should be able to:
- Describe the model for improvement
- Identify the use and need for data in quality improvement
- Test and measure changes within a plan do study act (pdsa) cycle
- Plan the first steps for initiating a quality improvement project
- Identify supports that are available to help with quality improvement work
- Identify the physician's role in quality improvement within the team and within the health care sector
